One Direction have released second teaser for Kiss You video

One Direction have released a second teaser for their upcoming music video to Kiss You, the third single from the band’s 2012 sophomore release, Take Me Home. After channeling The Monkees in their first video teaser (watch here), it looks like the lads from the UK are now giving props to Elvis Presley.

From the set to their matching prison uniforms, One Direction appear to be reenacting Presley’s famous video for Jailhouse Rock. Sharing an affinity for screaming girls and chart topping albums, One Direction’s ode to Elvis is the perfect comparison between the two acts.

Set to premiere on New.Music.Live. on Monday, January 7th at 6E/3P, the band is counting down to the full music video with a number of teaser videos. Check a sneak peek of One Direction’s video for Kiss You below and get ready to take some screen grabs for your locker.

Miley Cyrus has adopted a rescue dog!

Miley Cyrus has given a home to an adorable chihuahua cross breed puppy who she has named Bean. In a series of Tweets, accompanied by a picture of her and her new dog, Miley wrote, “Meet Bean @SpotRescueDogs Bean is a little girl she is a chihuahua mix of some type she brought so much sunshine!!! (sic)”

Miley – who is engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth – has posted several images of her with her new canine friend on the social networking site and it seems the pooch has had no trouble making herself comfortable in her new home. In other tweets, the Party in he USA hitmaker revealed, “I love my little bean so much … My little burrito … I spot a baby bean Napping with her Aunty @RealDenikaB #puppyluv (sic)”

Miley’s decision to get a puppy comes just a few weeks after her dog Lila was killed by one of her other pets. In December, the former Hannah Montana singer was left heartbroken after the diminutive Yorkshire terrier was fatally attacked by her English bulldog Ziggy. Miley even dedicated her performance at the ‘VH1 Divas’ concert to her departed mutt. The pop star also made the painful decision to give up Ziggy to an owner with no other pets or children in case the attack wasn’t a one-off.

Leona Lewis is in awe of the music mogul’s futuristic-looking bachelor pad which she regularly visits before their boozy catch up dinners, but is always mindful of not drinking too much in front of Simon because it would be like getting drunk in front of her dad. Speaking to the new UK issue of Marie Claire magazine, she revealed, “He lives in an amazing bachelor pad that feels like a spaceship about to lift off. We go out for dinner and drink wine. I’ve never got drunk with him though; it’s a bit like when you’re with your parents and you’re on your best behaviour!”

The 27-year-old singer thinks her “special connection” with Simon is down to her being the first star from the UK X Factor to conquer the international pop market, although the pair often squabble over the musical direction of her records.
Leona, who was mentored to victory by Simon on the series in 2006, explained, “We’ve always had a special connection. I think me being the first X Factor contestant to go global was a big deal for Simon. He’s supportive and makes me laugh.”

Leona continued, “We disagree a lot. At the end of the day he’s my A&R guy, so he does have a certain amount of say in what goes on my record and we banter – but I usually get a result!” However, 53-year-old Simon keeps Leona sweet by treating her to expensive one-of-a-kind Christmas presents. Leona revealed, “He does give good Christmas presents though. He once bought me a little clutch bag with L.L. emblazoned on it – it’s like my own personal designer bag!”

Justin Bieber, who is in an on/off relationship with singer-and-actress Selena Gomez, is a patient boyfriend, but admits having a girlfriend can sometimes be frustrating. Justin revealed, “In every relationship the boy definitely has to wait more for the girl than the girl has to wait for the boy. I’m used to it. Getting annoyed won’t get you anywhere anyway.” Justin continued, “You have to know when it is better to leave a girl alone, to wait for her to realize she is yours. And yes, sometimes they can give you a headache.”

Justin does think that he is a good boyfriend though. The 18-year-old pop megastar believes he can understand a girl’s needs and claims he is always very sympathetic and understanding. Justin added to Top of the Pops magazine, “I have my qualities. I can be attentive and I have a lot of patience. And I like to surprise my girlfriend with nice things, romantic trips, such as a picnic or something. For girls, it’s more important to be loved than to constantly get great gifts. Girls are cuddly and affectionate, but so are boys.”

Justin and Selena have had some problems in their romance in past few months. However, he whisked her away for a romantic getaway to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, together last weekend. However, reports have surfaced the pair had a huge bust-up during their vacation leading to them seeing in 2013 separately.

Ke$ha is the new cover girl for Seventeen magazine, complete with floral headdress and the cutest kitten ever (quick, show Phoebe!). In the magazine Ke$ha revealed how she has been repeatedly put down in the journey of making her dream come true.

“I remember every person who told me I couldn’t do something or that I was ugly or too fat,” Ke$ha told Seventeen. “I have a ‘s*** list’ — people from my past who have been soulless and judgmental. Even after I got through my awkward phase, got my braces off, and figured out how to dress my body, people in the music business were like, ‘You’re never going to make it.’ I see them now and I’m like, ‘Ha!’ That’s one of the reasons I named my record Warrior. You can be a victim and let that eat your soul, or you can say, You’re going on my list and I’m going to prove you wrong!” Way to go Ke$ha!

Here’s what the 22-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On working hard: “My parents have very strong work ethics and have instilled that in me; a love and respect for what you do and taking pride in it. And then – and this is sort of irritating at times – I’m a bit OCD about perfectionism. I’m my own worst critic. I think that’s really hard, but it also spurs me on. I always want to do better. I’m always striving towards the next thing.”

On being more secure with herself: “Now I feel a lot more settled in who I am and what I think and how I want to do things. And because I feel good about what I am doing, I don’t need anyone else to say whether they think it’s good or not. I think that comes with age, which is nice.”

On her love for France: “I always have the same New Year’s resolution: to speak French fluently. I get a huge wave of nostalgia when I come into the Gare du Nord. There’s such an emphasis on culture, art and music? And I’ll do anything for a warm baguette.

Here’s what the 30-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag, which features cover gal Julianne Hough:

On fiance Brandon Blackstock: “Brandon’s totally the one. I’ve never been so happy. We’ve known each other for years, but we didn’t start talking until the Super Bowl last February. And this is the funniest/worst thing ever: One of my superhero idols is Whitney Houston, and the day she died was our first date. I was like ‘This is a bad omen…’ Six years I was single before this. I’ve never been truly loved like I am right now.”

On her weight loss: “One magazine said I lost 40 pounds—that’s a small child, by the way. I lost 18 pounds. And I think that happens when you fall in love or date someone. If I’m going to be kissing or messing around, I gotta look good. There’s not a fad diet. I was working with a trainer, and she said, ‘You’d be amazed the amount of weight you can drop by halving your portions. I know it sounds crazy, but do it for two weeks and watch what happens.’”

On rumors that she’s homosexual: “People think, “Oh, she’s been single for too long.” That’s kind of an insult to the gay community. Being single doesn’t mean you’re gay. But I’m never insulted by it, obviously. I mean, I get hit on by the hottest girls ever. Oh, my god, if I were a lesbian, I would be so in luck. But it’s just not my thing. I’ve always batted for the boys’ team.”
