Playing the Spice Girls will get you evicted

British newspaper the Daily Mail reported that Gavin Townroe, a resident of Nottingham, has been evicted for playing the Spice Girls’ 1998 hit Viva Forever loudly and all the time on repeat. The eviction comes from several complaints from neighours as well as one neighbour reportedly missing a day of work due to a lack in sleep over the noise. The Daily Mail reported, “Other neighbours at the same block of flats, in Nottingham, would even leave their homes just to get away from the constant sound of the pop stars – dubbed Sporty, Baby, Posh, Scary and Ginger – which would be repeatedly played at all hours.”

Enforcement officer Wayne Cliff explained, “Despite being warned, Mr. Townroe had a total disregard for his neighbours. At times the volume was so loud residents would leave their properties to escape the music.”

Looks like we’re not the only ones who have to hide our tattoos from our parents! British crooner Ed Sheeran also has to hide his new tattoos from his mother! Ed recently got two intricate pieces, one featuring work by the artist Matisse and another depicting a phoenix and King Arthur. The Belfast Telegraph reported that, “The King Arthur piece upset his mother apparently, as Ed vowed not to get any more tattoos on his hand. Recently he hasn’t been sharing his skin art as much.” As reported in the Telegraph, a source told British newspaper The Sun that, “Ed’s keeping his new tattoos under wraps and hasn’t really been showing them off as they’re quite dramatic.”

Whoops. You think he can still go on tour if his mother grounds him? If she’s anything like my mom… We’ll probably have to get a refund for those tickets.

After narrowly escaping a warrant being issued for her arrest by splashing out on a last minute first class flight from New York to Los Angeles to appear in court on Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan has decided to move in with her mom. While this would normally be a great idea for someone who is having trouble staying on the right side of the law, Lindsay’s mother is Dina Lohan. So ya, she’s better off on her own.

A source close to the 26-year-old troubled starlet, who wore a Chanel dress and Christian Louboutin shoes to court, told gossip website RadarOnline.com that Lindsay is struggling to cope living in such close quarters with her mother again, saying “Dina seriously cramps Lindsay’s style because she always wants to go out partying with her. It’s embarrassing for Lindsay and she often dodges her mom’s calls when she’s out. Lindsay is constantly on the prowl these days to snag a new wealthy pal who has an apartment or vacation home she can move into…. rent free of course!”

Number one, why is Lindsay partying at all? Number two, someone needs to give her a hug and a game plan, because what she’s been lately isn’t working. Have you seen Mean Girls lately? So good. Soooo good. Get back there, Lindsay.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West say they want to dress their baby in leather trousers. The reality TV star and her rapper boyfriend already have big plans for the wardrobe of their unborn child, who is due in July, and are going to dress the baby in custom-made “really fun stuff” so it can look as fashionable as them.

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, Kim said “If anyone knows Kanye, they just know how into fashion he is, and I think he’s going to have things, like, specially made. I don’t think hand-me-downs are going to work. I think it has to be, like, really fun stuff.” Asked what fashion-forward items it will be wearing, Kim added “Chains… leather pants!” I think she’s kidding, but then again…

While the baby was unplanned, Kim confessed that Kanye, 35, is over the moon about becoming a father for the first time, saying “We talked about it, but it was a nice surprise…. He is so excited, it’s really cute how excited he is.” Kim said she is scheduled for a scan in a couple of weeks’ time and the pair are dying to find out the sex of the baby, presumably so they can get to work designing its super stylish wardrobe. Kim said “I have another week or two. Yes, for sure, I’m really excited to find out.”

Rumors about Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s growing coziness can be put to rest for a while now as Deepy has taken off to Kashmir with Ranbir Kapoor, to shoot for a song for Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Ranveer Singh on the other hand is all alone, shooting in Jodhpur.

Says a source, “Ayan has finished his entire shooting. Apart from a promotional song which he will shoot in April, only this song in Kashmir remained. It’s meant to be a part of a sequence where Deepika and Ranbir and their friends take a pleasure trip into the Himalayas. It is meant to be a fun outing, like those extended picnics in the 1960s’ films directed by Nasir Hussain.”

The song was supposed to be shot in the winter snow of Kashmir. So after the release of Race 2, Deepika took a week off and headed to Kashmir.

Says a source from Jodhpur, “While Deepika finishes her shooting with Ranbir in Kashmir, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is shooting solo scenes with Ranveer in Jodhpur. Deepika will fly straight from Kashmir to Rajasthan.”

Deepika and Ranbir will finish the last song of the film in the romantic state and then Ayan will be done with the filming of Yeh Jawani hai Deewani. From what we hear, the song is not a romantic number, but a part of the sequence where the duo and their friends take a trip to the Himalayas.

Kareena Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi will team up for the first time in a romantic drama. The duo have finally signed a film together, which is yet to be titled.

The untitled romantic drama will be produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji as well as Karan Johar’s Dharma productions and will be directed by Akshay Roy.

Confirming the news, Karan said, “At Dharma, we believe in launching young talent.” While, Ekta refused to divulge much about the latest development. She only said, “The film is an urban take on love – it is quirky, edgy, dramatic and intense.”

Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures tweeted, “For those asking, the untitled Balaji-Dharma romantic drama is taking off in September. Starring Emraan Hashmi & Kareena.”

Last year, buzz had it that Kareena Kapoor had turned down the offer of working with Emraan Hashmi.

A source had then said, “Kareena felt she wouldn’t be too comfortable working with Emraan, given his image. Although he has been on a golden run lately, his popularity as Bollywood’s Serial Kisser and the bad boy hero of small-budget films could have made Kareena refuse the film.”

But now, Bebo has finally said yes to working with the serial kisser Emraan and their pair definitely looks very fresh. The filmmakers are also on a look out for an actress in the supporting role.

This untitled project will hit screens on September 6, 2013.
