Lady Gaga is alright everyone! Mother Monster’s hip surgery went well yesterday and she was able to share with us her recovery and her next few steps (pun intended). Lady Gaga wrote in a post on LittleMonsters.com, “You really gave me a lot of strength today. Everything happened so fast, but when it came time to face it I reflected on the many stories and experiences you’ve shared with me about your lives. Meeting you backstage, reading your letters, watching you communicate with fans from around the globe to form a community that supports one another – You have completely blown my mind.”

“As they wheeled me into surgery today, I thought about all of your pain and perseverance, your unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, identity struggles – sometimes you are so brave that it terrifies me. I wonder how it’s even possible.”

“So I thought to myself, I’m alive, I’m living my dream, and this is just a bump in the road. I’m grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not. You have changed my life. I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives. If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything.”

Vanessa Hudgens is getting ready to promote her new movie Spring Breakers and has expressed her excitement to see her girls again. “Yeah, I’m stoked,” Vanessa told HuffPost Celebrity “It’s a completely different movie, character, just a whole new slate for me. So, yes I’m definitely excited!” Vanessa also shared what it was like on set saying, “It was amazing [working with them]… I love those girls so much and we got to share a very special experience together.”

Must have been really great working with the living legend James Franco too as Vanessa explained, “He’s a phemonenal actor.” Vanessa continued, “He’s just like an actor’s actor and he’s an amazing person to talk with and he really transformed himself for the movie. So, it’s very shocking I think.”

But what about Vanessa’s relationship with our gal Selena Gomez? V. Hudge shared that Selena is holding up despite her recent breakup with Justin. “Selena is one of my best friends, I love her to death,” Vanessa told HuffPost, “She’s doing great.”

Arshad Warsi is busy promoting his new film “Jolly L.L.B.” which is releasing in March, is a happy man these days. On one hand he is shooting for a sequel to his super hit film Dedh Ishqiya, for which he is going to Lucknow, He was quoted saying”I will leave for Lucknow in the next two days to start the shooting for ‘Dedh Ishqiya’. It is a 40-day schedule and I am very excited about this film. It’s a great script and a wonderful story”.

On other hand he is promoting his upcoming release “Jolly L.L.B.” , which has already created a buzz as the movie apparently is a mockery on our judicial system. It is a satirical comedy drama film which also stars Amrita Rao and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

They were reports surrounding that this film was inspired by a real life incident. Recently the director of the film, Shubhash Kapoor says, “Yes, it is true that I was inspired. I found it extremely funny when I came across the news report. When I read about this news in 2008, I found it to be extremely funny. In the opening sequence of our film, we introduce Arshad (as Jolly), a lawyer defending a boy in the court of law. It is part of a fun sequence.”

Looking at the kind of films that Arshad is doing, it seems that variety seems to be the spice of his life.

Aishwarya Rai speaks her mind about issue of women’s security

At the Zindagi Live Awards in New Delhi, Aishwarya Rai spoke about the security of women in India. The 39-year-old actress, also a mother of a one-year-old girl, says she is angry because a lot is being said but very little action is taken to rectify the situation.

Talking about the feeling of insecurity that a lot of women in India feel, Aish spoke her heart out. She said,
“I don’t feel fear, rather there is a lot of anger and I don’t hesitate to say this. Many of us are privileged to have a lot of assurance about our safety but most of the women in our country do not have that.”

The actress feels the offenders who have committed crimes against women should be punished severely.

“There should be definite laws for offenders. They should be punished immediately. That is when we will see the change in the society,” said Aishwarya Rai.

The actress is satisfied with the fact that people are making genuine efforts to come together and carrying out rallies and protest for a change in laws and attitudes towards crimes against women. Yet, she believes a lot more needs to be done so that women feel more secure in our country.

Director unhappy with Zila Ghaziabad’s ‘A’ certificate

Zila Ghaziabad, starring Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi and Arshad Warsi in lead roles is all set to hit the silver screens on 22nd February has been certified ‘A’ by the central board of film certification.

However, director Anand Kumar is very upset with the certification said “I am extremely disappointed that my film has got an ‘A’ Certificate. If you see the film, you will know there is nothing wrong in the film. It is so disturbing the film has got an ‘A’ Certificate with cuts”.

“I understand the film has violence in it, but there are no blood scenes or any bold scenes as such. It is very strange that the Central Board of Film Certification is saying kids should not watch such films,” he added about the film. He also questioned about the ‘U/A’ ratings of Race 2 and Murder 3.

Film is about the gang war in a village called Ghaziabad where two gangs are headed by Vivek Oberoi and Arshad Warsi with Sanjay Dutt playing a role bad-ass cop who wants to end the war.The movie stars Minisha Lamba as the female lead and famous south Indian actress Shriya Saran turns item girl through this movie. Hope the movie gives Sanjay and Vivek much awaited breakthrough.

According to a survey conducted by Sanona, the UK’s largest online Pay-Per-View Indian portal, power couple, Shahrukh Khan and Kajol have been voted as the most romantic on-screen couple of all time. Off the 12 on-screen couples featured in the poll, SRK-Kajol grabbed the award with a great margin.

Both Kajol and SRK have always given super hits together, be it the evergreen film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or the new age romantic flick Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

They were paired in six Hindi films such as “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, “Karan Arjun”, “Baazigar”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” and “My Name is Khan”. The couple also beat some of the best jodis of all times, including Raj Kapoor-Nargis, Dharmendra-Hema Malini and Amitabh-Rekha in the poll.

It was on 14 Feb when the poll was conducted across Facebook, Twitter and the movie portal itself.

“There was somewhat of a gap between Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, and the rest. This shows that they really have captivated the hearts of millions in the past twenty years since first coming together in Baazigar (1993). Perhaps they are the only on-screen couple who can actually draw audiences on the basis on them being in a movie together,” said Adam Davies, CEO of Sanona, according to PTI.

Imran Khan, who has established himself as an ideal Bollywood star in recent years has taken a bold decision to file a PIL against the government for increasing the legal age of drinking to 25 years or more.

After year and a half finally the Mumbai High court has agreed for hearing of the case and Imran is really happy about it. The issue is also supported my lot of Imran’s fans, lot of people greeted him online with over 2000 posts for making this brave move.

A reliable source of Imran said “Imran’s case is all set to come up for a hearing and he has earned a lot of support from his fans. Few of them had even landed outside his home and left messages for the actor.”

He also mentioned that Imran is very particular about the health issues that may arise due to the alcohol consumption but he feels the youth who are over 21 years are matured enough to make the decision of judging what is good or bad; government can’t force them to do things which may lead to poor consequences in terms of youth breaking the laws.

Let us wait and see if Imran will become first ever bollywood actor to go against the government’s law and come out victorious.
