M.I.A dropped an eight minute Matangi mix today which is a dangerously insane mix and there is nothing like it so far. The Sri Lankan born makes best use of her music knowledge and includes South Asian melodies, Hindi-movie singing, twisted beats, and thumping bass. The best part is when M.I.A herself shows up five minutes into the track. And the other awesome part of the track is at 2:35 (the men’s humming from Tamil song which was taken from a Tamil movie “Gentlemen”). She also released a new material at a fashion show in Paris and this mix was used as a soundtrack her collaboration with the fashion line Ken o. Matangi is also the name of M.I.A’s next album, which is out on April 15th. Make sure you give the “Matangi” mix a listen below, there is definitely nothing like it!

Justin Bieber had the “worst birthday” at London’s Cirque du Soir and it wasn’t because he couldn’t get Jaden Smith into a club. On March 1 Justin tweeted out, “Worst birthday” which led to speculation as to what happened. According to a source close to Us maga ine, it was alluded that it was because Jaden was underage and Justin wanted to get him into the club saying, “There was never any mention of Jaden being there, so when he showed up, it caused problems… They could have stayed if Jaden left, but Justin wanted to be loyal to his good friend.”

Justin spoke out on what actually happened saying on an instagram, “The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club.. U think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don’t think so.. 2nd I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn’t stay at their weak ass club so they wouldn’t look bad for me walking in and right back out..i said m “worst bday” but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive. Btw it wasn’t the worst bday cu all my friends from back home flew in I was just mad in the moment”

I don’t know about you guys, but I believe in Justin’s story. I don’t think Will Smith would have allowed for his son (no matter how “cool” or “famous” that family is) to go to a club when he was underage. And I also don’t think that Justin would have let something that small affect him. Justin has shown everyone he can have a good time in the club or out of the club and I would like to believe (hah!) that he plays by the rules like any fresh faced nineteen-year-old young man.

But what Murs didn’t know what that one of the questions Norton read out loud was a query Murs previously answered on the social media site.

When asked which celebrity he would like to have children with, Murs gave a honest answer. Unfortunately, or fortunately for Olly, the celebrity he admitted to having a crush on was sitting only a few feet away from him during the interview.

Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha are presently in Bhuj, busy shooting for their upcoming flick Rambo Rajkumar. The first schedule of the film is being shot in Gujarat and the duo have recently wrapped the shooting of a song.

The film went on floors on March 1. Directed by Prabhu Deva, Rambo Rajkumar will see Shahid Kapoor as the hero of the masses for the very first time. Prabhu Deva has even tweeted a picture of Shahid from the song’s shoot and wrote, “Rambo Rajkumar day 3 – my hero @shahidkapoor looking rugged and cool.. Shootin a song.. Almost finishing it.” The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha.

Shahid being a very good dancer, is pretty excited to work with Prabhu Deva as the director has included a few ama ing dance numbers in the film.

Shahid also posted an image of Sonakshi Sinha on Twitter and wrote, “@sonakshisinha clicked in bhuj through my lens.”

Well, not just acting and dancing alone, Shahid Kapoor is extremely fond of photography too, and whenever possible he goes clicking.

Anurag Basu’s Kishore Kumar biopic will star Ranbir Kapoor

Anurag Basu’s next, a biopic of Kishore Kumar will go on floors only next year, reason: the script is not yet ready. The film is said to be starring Ranbir Kapoor.

Anurag Basu recently said that since the script of the biopic is taking a long time, the filming will start next year. However, he will start another film by May this year.

“I am writing three films right now and will select one of them and then make it. This is because the biopic of Kishore Kumar will take a lot of time and now it might start next year,” Basu said. The Barfi! director was at the inauguration of Wassup Andheri Fest.

“But before that, I have to make another film. It will start soon by April or May. So the preparations for that are going on,” he added.

While Ranbir Kapoor is confirmed to play the role of the legendary singer Kishore Kumar, the film’s leading lady, who will be essaying the role of Madhubala, hasn’t yet been finali ed.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has become the brand ambassador of Blackberry 10, reveals that he is too shy to be on Twitter. He said, “BB is a way beyond social networking. I am happy expressing myself to people I know and I am too shy. I like to share things with my close people.”

Soha Ali Khan prefers character driven role over the hero-heroine concept

Soha Ali Khan finds the hero-heroine concept in cinema, illogical and absurd. The actress prefers a character driven role over the “hero-heroine dynamics” of Bollywood.

“I don’t think about hero or heroine! I look for character-driven scripts. I find the words hero or heroine very absurd. We all play characters,” Soha told in an interview.

She added, “When I did my first film ‘Dil Maange More’, I chose the character of a girl who chooses her career over the boy. But then everyone was like, ‘You are not the heroine of the film! She has to get the hero.’ But I felt the other role was more interesting,” Soha said.

The 34-year-old however appreciates the kind of cinema the Indian film industry is witnessing currently.

“It is not hero-heroine driven. It is not even star-driven. It is script and plot- driven… this is more exciting for me,” she said.

The actress doesn’t want to restrict herself to a particular genre and wants to focus on doing good cenima only.

“I want to be part of good cinema…with songs or without songs, with or without masala, with or without Salman Khan. The story should be good, the character should be good. If I like the environment and role, then I will do it. Whether it works or not is secondary,” she said.

Soha Ali Khan also regrets being a part of some films. However, she doesn’t let that affect her much.

“There is no point regretting anything. I don’t look into the past. Of course, there are films which I have done, which have not worked. But I don’t dwell in those,” she said.

Trailer of “Satya 2″ is unveiled

Ram Gopal Varma, who has been struggling to deliver a successful movie since Sarkar Raj is relieved after the positive response from the critics and crowd for his latest movie “The Attacks of 26 /11”, he released the first theatrical trailer of much awaited “Satya 2” with “The Attacks of 26/11”.

“Satya 2″ is a sequel for the 1998 classic “Satya” which was about underworld of Mumbai. “satya” was the movie that made RGV an iconic director and influenced lot of young directors in turn created a whole new genre in Indian Cinema .

However, Satya-2 is neither the continuation nor it has any similar characters of its prequel. RGV comes up with completely fresh characters but trailer has already started giving impression that movie will be about new face of Mumbai underworld.

RGV says ” The movie will be completely different compared to Satya, only similarity between them is the theme which is Mumbai underworld. Most of the movie’s cast will be of new comers with great potential and i am sure movie will live up to the expectations”

The movie is also shot in Telugu with different actors and will be released in Tamil too, release date is not yet confirmed .
