Shahrukh Khan doesn’t consider himself a big star

Shahrukh Khan doesn’t consider himself a big star

Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan recently made a statement about him considering himself a small star and that the Cricket Championship League (CCL) doesn`t need a “smaller star” like him.

While speaking during the opening ceremony of a cricket championship Shahrukh Khan said, “I will be really honest… I am someone who believes professionalizing sports in this country is perhaps the most important aspect if I can any way get attached to it. I am happy that I am associated with it.”

According to SRK, he doesn’t have time to play cricket, “I personally wont get time to play cricket so I don`t think I will be attached to anything else but if it requires me. I think there are so many stars in CCL, I don`t think they need a smaller star like me.”

“Smaller star”?? Well, SRK is considered as the king of Bollywood. We wonder why the superstar doesn’t think the same about himself.

Just recently, Shahrukh’s arch rival Salman Khan had expressed his desire to to play cricket next year. Can this be one of the reasons why SRK doesn’t want to join the game??

Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan feels there is no combination like sports and women.
“You have to start somewhere and this is just the beginning slowly, it will spread to more places. Specifically if you ask me, then there is no combination like sports and women. I would be really happy if it went across and women participate in it,” he said.

Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the movie is said to be inspired from the popular social activist Anna Hazare. However, the look does not seem like real Anna Hazare whatsoever. But that’s how Prakash Jha does the things typically, he just takes the soul of the character and makes the modifications according to what audience would like.

The movie also stars Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai in the other major roles and is said to be an intense political drama. Praksash Jha has been struggling to deliver a superhit after ‘Rajneeti’, his last two outings Aarakshan and Chakravyuh were critically well noticed but could not spin big money at the box-office unlike Rajneeti which grossed over 100 crores.

Even Amitabh has not tasted any success after ‘Paa’ which was released in 2009, hope ‘Satyagraha’ will get both Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Jha back to the winning ways.

Sonam Kapoor to don bikini for YRF’s next!

Sonam Kapoor to don bikini for YRF’s next!

Sonam KapoorSonam Kapoor is all set to don the bikini avatar in Yash Raj Film’s next. Fashion icon Sonam agreed to shed her inhibitions and wear the bikini for a sequence in the film which would be similar to Kareena Kapoor’s in Tashan. We hear that Sonam has hit the gym to get into shape for the scene.

According to reports, the 27-year-old has given a nod to slip into a two piece. However, it should not be a big apprehension as Sonam Kapoor has a stunning figure which would only be highlighted by being clad in a bikini.

The Yash Raj banner has for years been associated with portraying actresses in never-seen-before avatars and looks like in Sonam’s case they are following suit. Also, it is a point to note that actresses, who had inhibitions in regard to a bikini have shed all doubts and gone ahead with it.

It started with Zeenat Aman in the 1980 film Dostana. Then Juhi Chawla in Deewana Mastana followed by Esha Deol in Dhoom. Anushka Sharma too had sported a two-piece in Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl, Badmaash Company and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. We cannot forget Kareena Kapoor flaunting her size zero in Tashan.

Let’s hope Sonam’s bikini act becomes as memorable as had all these films. Also, we wish Papa Anil Kapoor has no objections to his beti getting into this new avatar.
