Justin Bieber goes on Twitter rant against media

Justin Bieber needs a blog. The Canadian singer has gone on a Twitter rant to share his feelings towards the media, which resulted in a series of 13 tweets last night. Or for most people his age, a proposal for an essay.

The pop star has been having a string of bad luck while on the UK leg of his Believe Tour. First the Biebs had his ‘worst birthday’ after some of Justin’s underage friends were denied admission in the club where he was throwing a party. Later that week, Justin was met with boo’s when he took the stage at London’s O2 Arena for this concert after arriving on stage 45 minutes late.

The Biebs has reached his boiling point, taking to Twitter to denounce what he says are false reports in the media about his actions. Here’s a summary:

rumors rumors and more rumors. nothing more nothing less. might talk about them 1 day. rt now im just gonna be positive. cant bring me down. im focused on the good things in life. im blessed and not forgetting it. im giving back every day for it. cant phase me. fake stories to sell papers i guess are part of the job. but im a good person. i know that. u cant tell me different. we know the truth as long as my family, friends, and fans r with me u can say whatever. we are all equal in God’s eyes & we have a responsibility to each other.

So make up stories about fake fines and make no mention of the positive….or say when i came out of my show with my shirt off because after performing for 2 hours i might be sweaty i was going into a club (really?) or any girl i stand next to is my girl or that i dont care, or that i dont feel, or that a 19 year old going to a club in europe is wild…

and be careful of the judgement u pass but know this…im only judged by one power, and i serve him. so yeah I will continue being me. i will continue to serve, to perform, to care, to love, to smile, to dance, to play, to sing…and u are welcome to join, because i carry no hate. We got to much love for that. Im about the music.

If you can get past the grammar and punctuation, it looks like Justin manages to stay positive for the most part while voicing his frustrations over what he describes as “rumours”. Justin’s final tweet was “back to the music”, which consists of continuing his UK tour. No word on whether said shirt will be on or off.

Stompin’ Tom Connors passes away

Canadian country musician Stompin’ Tom Connors has passed away at the age of 77. Connors’ spokesperson announced the singer’s death yesterday, saying that the New Brunswick native passed away from ‘natural causes’.

Nicknamed for his signature foot stomping to keep rhythm while performing, Connors was a champion of Canadian music, writing almost exclusively about his home country and becoming famous declining six JUNO Awards over his career, feeling that the Canadian music awards show had become ‘too Americani ed’. Connors most well-known song, The Hockey Song, is often played during NHL games in Canada and the US.

Connors recently wrote a letter to his fans, with wishes that his words be released upon his death.

Hello friends, I want all my fans, past, present, or future, to know that without you, there would have not been any Stompin’ Tom.

It was a long hard bumpy road, but this great country kept me inspired with its beauty, character, and spirit, driving me to keep marching on and devoted to sing about its people and places that make Canada the greatest country in the world.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, falling on 8 March every year, Shahrukh Khan is taking a laudable initiative towards women.

King Khan has taken a pledge that henceforth in all his films the heroine’s name would appear ahead of him in the credit titles.

“I would request to all those who I am working with, starting with ‘Chennai Express’ (to do it). I don’t know whether this is going to bring a change but the point needs to be raised,” said SRK.

“With the mark of 100 years of Indian cinema and Women’s Day coming up, it would be a nice combination. In ‘Chennai Express’, Deepika Padukone’s name will appear first,” he added.

Deepika Padukone is cast opposite Shahrukh in Rohit Shetty’s “Chennai Express”. On hearing this announcement, Deepy was happy yet kept calm. Shahrukh said: “She was not jumping on the roof top. She said, ‘It’s great, but I hope even others start following this.’”

This Women’s Day TATA Tea’s “Jaago Re” campaign has started a new initiative – Women First – with Shahrukh Khan.

The superstar unveiled the ad, directed by R. Balki. The actor just like Big B, stressed on the fact that no matter what, “women’s position in every field needs to be respected”.

“Right from my mom to all the actresses I work with are the most important women in my life,” he added.

New Slice ad sees Katrina Kaif in a playful mood

The latest commercial of Slice will see Katrina Kaif stuck in a love triangle. The actress is very excited about the new ad. The actress had showcased her seductive side in an earlier campaign — Aamsutra, and this time, the ad captures her playful nature.

Katrina, who endorses the brand, said in a statement, “As always, I am very excited to be part of the new Slice campaign – it’s an interesting concept that highlights the taste and superior experience of Mango Slice.”

The new Slice Ad will go on air this Thursday. The commercial starts on a light playful note with Katrina, a young man and another woman taking a brisk walk in the beautiful, lush green meadows of flowers. A foot-tapping remix of evergreen Bollywood number “Haal kaisa hai janab ka”, sung by Shalmali Kholgade, sets the mood.

The playful side comes out when Katrina blind folds the young man and asks him to choose between Slice and another mango drink. “The playfulness about the story is quite infectious and for the first time there is a hint of a love triangle,” said Katrina.

Ajay Devgn ’s “Himmatwala” has been making huge bu in the B-Town especially because of its unique theme of revival of the 1980’s magic in Bollywood cinema. It is directed by Sajid Khan who delivered blockbusters like Hey Baby and Housefull series and is all set release on 29th of March.

Sajid Khan started the bu again saying Ajay Devgn’s intro in the movie is a highlight and he’s confident that people will clap for that scene and if not he is ready to refund the ticket money!

He said “If you talk about the 1980s – what used to happen in 1980s movies – it doesn’t happen any more – the hero’s entry. Except for a couple of Salman Khan’s films, no importance is given to the hero’s entry. The kind of entry that Amitabh Bachchan had in ‘Coolie’, for me, it’s the entry of all time,” and added he liked Ajay Devgn’s entry in ‘Phool Aur Kaante’.

“This is an open challenge that if viewers won’t clap on Ajay’s entry in ‘Himmatwala’, I will refund the ticket money.” Said Sajid.

“I have designed such an entry for Ajay Devgn that I was clapping while I was writing it, I was clapping while I was shooting it. I have given a lot of stress on entry,” he added.

The movie stars Tamannah as the female lead who is a southern actress and music is composed by Sajid-wahid which is already a big hit.
