Akshay Kumar wants to take philanthropy to the next level

Akshay Kumar wants to take philanthropy to the next level

Akshay--Kumar

Akshay Kumar, who just became 1st ever Indian actor to cross 2000 crores with his movies, now wants to take philanthropy to the next level.

Akshay who is a brilliant martial artist is fed up with cricket’s monopoly in India and wants to encourage kids from poor families who have diverse talents. Talking about cricket, he said “Cricket… I am just damn tired of it! I want something else coming out of this country. I just want it to happen. Support these families, their children are made of something which can get us gold medals at Olympics “.

If all the corporates support four to five families and give them all the money they need, I think we can come up with gold medals,” he adds.

Akshay made a significant revelation saying “I support three families whose children are eight to nine years old. I support them completely — their father, mother, everything, so that they can come up in the sports field. The children are very interested in sports, so they can come up and become great sports persons”.

As Akshay said, if some of the top most corporates support some underprivileged families to nurture their kids, then who knows, they might emerge as potential Olympic Gold medal winners in the future.

Salman Khan involved in a petty quarrel yet again

Salman Khan involved in a petty quarrel yet again

Salman-Khan

Salman Khan, who is always prone to conflicts off the screen, has lost his composure yet again and was involved in a petty quarrel with the organizers of Celebrity Cricket League in Hyderabad on Tuesday . But this time Salman had a genuine reason to be upset with the CCL organizers because they have not provided him enough security while heading back to the hotel.

The Dabangg star, after the match between Veer Maratha and Mumbai Heroes was heading back to hotel, before getting into the car at the stadium there were around 30 bikers waiting for him to show up and eventually they followed him up all the way to his hotel and also misbehaved by banging the car windows en route to grab his attention and allegedly used foul language on him.

However, Salman was majorly upset with the security because the stalkers have injured 2 policemen and 3 CCL members in the process. He felt that organizers took things pretty much for granted in terms of security.

But, Salman moved on from the issue easily as he always does and attended the post-match party with other celebrities.
Intentionally or unintentionally Salman Khan has always been in the news in the recent past which is also making him even more popular. We may call this “blessing in disgrace”!

Phoenix keeps us entertained with new single

PhoenixTrack

Okay, Phoenix. Seriously. Did you seriously just make us wait nearly four years for a new track? Yeah. You did. And it was so worth the wait.

French indie rock gods Phoenix have come out with Entertainment, a track that is both pounding and hard-hitting yet incredibly uplifting and exactly what I wanted to hear from them. Kinda like how I felt when I first heard new Two Door Cinema Club. It makes life feel so much better. Their new album Bankrupt! will be released the week of April 22, but it available for pre-order on iTunes now! They are also going on tour starting on March 28 and are hitting up Vancouver for their opening night! Are you going to go?

Bhajathe Raho is a comedy with revenge

Bhajathe Raho is a comedy with revenge

Bhajathe Raho

Looks like the two of the least common genres are coming together in the upcoming movie “Bhajathe Raho” which stars Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Tusshar Kapoor, Ravi Kissan and others.

Talking about the movie which recently went on floors, Shashanth Shah, the director of the movie said I love the concept of revenge comedy because it manages to combine laughter with vigilante aspect in one package. I have a fabulous star cast and a perfect background like Delhi to shoot in“.

We have seen many genres of comedy being made in our country, and so it was time for something differently funny. The beauty about the story of Bhajathe Raho is that it will keep you on the edge laughing. We have a superb cast who have time and again proved that they wear comedy not just on their sleeves, but in their hearts as well. And Shashant is a storyteller who has proved in the past his capability of narrating one in a brilliant manner. I am having fun producing this film and I am sure the audiences will have fun watching it too” says producer Krishika Lulla.

With Bollywood doing all formula movies these days, we sure want it to be as interesting as it sounds.

Hrithik Roshan stuns bollywood and owns the 58th Filmfare night

Hrithik Roshan stuns bollywood and owns the 58th Filmfare night

Hrithik Roshan, who has been mesmerising the Bollywood with his fantastic dance movies since his debut in 1999 through Kaho Na Pyaar Hai has not been at his dancing best because of a slipped disc problem which he had suffered recently. People thought he would never dance again in his life but he stunned everyone by dancing pretty well in “Agneepath” but the best came on the eve of 58th film fare awards where he blew the whole Bollywood away with his spectacular dance performance.

He danced for the two songs, one is “senorita” from “Zindagi na milega dobara” where he showed his subtle salsa movies with graceful expressions and other is for “sree ganesha deva” from “Agneepath” where he ignited the night with his unbelievably rapid movements and even the crew behind him coordinated really well and made the show cheerful.

Hrithik’s performance that night was top trending on twitter for the whole day, Hrithik thanked his fans saying “Wow..thank u beautiful people!u give me more than I deserve, i keep all your words safely tucked away in my heart fr god knows I will need 2 hear them back frm time to time…love u all..thank u.”

Hrithik is the perfect example of what one can call inner strength in human beings who want to break the norm and inspire the people to do wonders. Kudos to Hrithik!

Priyanka Chopra is the new item girl

Priyanka Chopra is the new item girl

Priyanka Chopra

After contemplating over it for a long time now, Priyanka Chopra has finally given a nod to an item number, the first in her career, for Sanjay Gupta’s gangster flick, ‘Shootout At Wadala’. The item song has been titled Babli Badmaash Hai.

Priyanka Chopra gave a green signal to the item track only after reviewing it completely. She made sure that the dance moves are not very sexually provoking and also the lyrics of the track are not too profane. Reportedly, the song is very vintage style, scored by Anu Malik and sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, and will be used for promoting the film.

If sources are to be believed, PeeCee was given three numbers to choose from, off which she picked ‘Babli Badmaash Hai’. Buzz is, the song will see PeeCee doff a hat to Zeenat Aman in Aap Jaisa Koi and Parveen Babi in Jeete Hain Shaan Se.

“When PeeCee heard the song, she thought it was RD Burman meeting Feroz Khan,” said the source. “Glamour yes, but no vulgarity,” added the source. Sanjay Gupta says the song will have a retro feel. “We are still working on the styling. There’s lot of detailing that’s required,” he said.

The song will be shot over three days in Goregaon and Gupta will be personally involved in the shoot.
