John Abraham is geared up for his next to films Race 2 and Shootout At Wadala. Both of the film will see John switch into action mode and perform some fiery action stunts. As of now, Race 2 is on John’s mind as it releases this week and is an action thriller directed by Abbas-Mustan.
John Abraham said: “I guess the line between a hero and an anti-hero has almost diminished now. This is the reason why most of us actors are playing a grey or an out and out black character in the film. When you watch these two films, you would realize that everyone is so fabulous out there. Also, drama and action would bring in quite a few turning points as well.”
The year 2012 proved fruitful for John as his career took a turning point when his first production Vicky Donor became the biggest sleeper hit. Also, Housefull 2 was a commercial success.
No wonder, 2012 turned out to be a defining year for John by all means.
“Yes, it indeed was a turnaround year for sure. I wanted to marry commerce with content and now VICKY DONOR has set a benchmark. Even in future, my films would definitely try to make a statement. It is not a boisterous statement though. I am going to live up to such huge expectations with my next production Madras Cafe, the shooting of which is currently on.”
