Vicky Donor was a huge runaway success. That too, for a movie sans superstars, it did extremely well. Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam who debuted with this film were highly appreciated. Looks like we are going to get more of Vicky Donor now! Yes, it is heard that the makers of the film, John Abraham and the Lulla brothers – Kishore and Sunil- are planning a sequel – Vicky Donor 2!
According to a source,”The Lullas and John seem to have ironed out their differences over the profit sharing on the earlier one, and are seriously contemplating making a sequel. Vicky Donor 2 is likely to go on the floors later this year and if all goes as per plan, it will release in 2014.”
Vicky Donor which released in 2011, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam was based on the concept of sperm donation and infertility. The movie went on to collect Rs. 40 crore and earned the lead actor, Ayushmann the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Male.
