The first theatrical trailer of Ajay Devgn’s forthcoming film, Himmatwala is out. Ajay Devgn is seen as a typical hero of 80s, and the story of Himmatwala revolves around the 1980s. South beauty Tamanna will be seen opposite Ajay Devgn, as the leading lady. The film is directed by Sajid Khan.
Himmatwala remake will see Ajay and Tamanna grooving to the foot-tapping number ‘Taki O Taki’, which originally belonged to Jeetendra and Sridevi. It is choreographed by the director’s sister, Farah Khan. The song sequence was shot in Jaipur. The movie also has a special disco-themed song featuring Sonakshi Sinha.
Says a source close to the team, “It is a very 1980s dance number, and Ajay was seen quite comfortable with the steps. He has his own style of dancing and has given it his best. We are sure that Ajay’s dancing will leave all of us thrilled.”
At the launch of the trailer, Sajid Khan said that the new version of ‘Himmatwala’ is quite different from that of the 1983 original version.
The film will see a lot of fun, action and romance.
“Himmatwala”, co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Vashu Bhagnani, will hit theatres March 29.
