Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a baby, and TMZ reported on Tuesday, Jan. 8 that the couple purchased an $11 million mansion together a few weeks ago.
Sources close to Kimye told TMZ that Kim and Kanye are now the “proud owners” of a 10,000-square-foot mansion in an “über-private” gated community in Bel Air, Calif. Kayne and Kim have already begun gutting the house to create a 14,000-square-foot dream house.
Reportedly the new home will be an Italian-style villa with a gym, movie theater, full hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pools, and of course, a nursery, or maybe two or three.
Kardashian and West’s new neighbors include Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Chris Paul and Joe Francis. Joe Francis of “Girls Gone Wild” fame is a friend of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Fans may wonder in whose name the mansion will be for the time being. Though Kim Kardashian and estranged husband Kris Humphries have been separated since Oct. 31, 2011 after a 72-day marriage, if Kim’s name is on the deed to the house, could it be considered marital property? We will just have to wait and see.
Kim and Kanye may be expecting a child together, and have purchased a home, no wedding date has been set, and cannot be until Kardashian is either legally divorced from Kris Humphries or agrees to an annulment based on fraud.
