South Beach was on fire last night (January 7) for more reasons than one. University of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron showed the world that he’s not only skilled on the football field, but he’s also got a way with women.
The world was introduced to the 22-year-old athlete’s drop-dead-gorgeous girlfriend Katherine Webb and needless to say, her beauty stole the show.During the game’s broadcast, ESPN college football analyst Brent Musberger took a break from reporting on the action to praise Miss Webb and said, “Wow, you quarterbacks, you get all the good looking women! What a beautiful woman.”
Katherine, who also represented Alamaba in the 2012 Miss USA pageant, gained a number of new Twitter followers including NBA superstar LeBron James and NFL defensive end Darnell Dockett.
According to reports, the 23-year-old topped 143,000 followers, trumping McCarron’s 101,000 this afternoon. Before the game, Webb had only a few hundred.
