Get ready for another Taylor Swift break-up hit, well, maybe. Late Thursday evening (January 10) the 23-year-old singer poked fun at her own dating antics via Twitter.
The “I Knew You Were Trouble” performer shared, “Back in the studio. Uh oh…”Miss Swift could be making a jest at the rumors that she’s already construed a heartbreak ballad telling the tale of her failed relationship with One Direction boy Harry Styles.
The rumors are justified by the various songs written about her previous relationships including “Dear John,” referencing her love affair with John Mayer and “We Are Never Getting Back Together,” which channels her time with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Although she didn’t openly admit to the story behind the tune, Taylor did explain that Red’s title track is about “this relationship that I had that was, like, the worst thing ever and the best thing ever at the same time.”
