Bollywood hunk John Abraham is a big time fitness freak and health conscious. He has always supported healthy living. Now, the actor has raised his voice in support of breast cancer awareness.
John urges women to get themselves checked regularly.
“I’d like to speak about one cause that’s breast cancer and it is something that can be detected early. That’s one of the initiatives here. Just go out and get checked yourselves for something that can prove to be fatal in future,” John Abraham told the PTI.
Earlier too, several Bollywood stars have spoken to create awareness of breast cancer among women.
Just recently, actress Sonam Kapoor spoke in support of breast cancer. Ms Kapoor also urged her friends and fans to show their support for it. A Source told DNA, “Sonam is a fashionista. So she”s urging everyone she knows to wear pink when they step out on October 21. It will be a small gesture but at least its a step forward. The most important thing that Sonam realised was that most people are still unaware of the seriousness of the disease and think that it can”t affect them.”
John was present with his I Me Aur Main co-star Prachi Desai.
