With news of their new single and greatest hits album, Destiny’s Child was thought to be performing at the Super Bowl on February 3rd.
However, it turns out that Beyoncé Knowles is the only member of the girl group taking the stage during halftime at the big game, as Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland won’t be in the house.Ms. Williams told press, “I’m going to be in the musical Fela! I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it’s not true. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. But we did record a song with each other before the holidays.”
As for the prospects of a reunion sometime in the future, Michelle shared, “We have talked about it. You know, one day soon.”
