Justin Bieber’s UK travels are going from bad to worse. First, the teen singer posted on his Twitter page that he was having the ‘worst birthday’ on Sunday after London club Cirque du Soir denied a number of the Biebs underage friends admittance to the venue, including Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s 14 year-old son, Jaden.
Now Bieber is feeling a lack of love from his fans. After arriving on stage somewhere between 40 minutes and two hours (depending on who you ask) late for his first of four shows last night at London’s O2 Arena, the Biebs was met by thousands of booing Beliebers. The Daily Mail in the UK is reporting that many of Justin’s young fans left the concert before getting to see their idol because of the late start time.
Bieber did not address the boo’s or lateness of his arrival during the show, but did send a series of tweets out to his fans last night to explain his tardiness and offer an apology. Justin explained that with three opening acts he was not scheduled to go on stage until 9:35 pm, with technical issues then forcing him to delay his arrival until 10:10 pm. Justin went on to say that there is no excuse for his lateness and that he respects his fans.
Let’s hope the rest of Justin’s Believe Tour goes a bit smoother in the UK.
