Sonu Nigam harrassed by organisers

Singer Sonu Nigam was performing at a show at a college in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad city Saturday night. He is upset after the organiser, the college owner harrassed him post concert by not letting him leave to catch his flight from Delhi despite repeated requests.

“I was not supposed to go for the show as my mom was in a critical condition and despite that I went and performed for three hours as I had given a commitment but I was completely apped with the behavior of Manish Jain who is the college owner,” the singer told.

“After the concert I had to leave for Delhi to catch the 4 a.m. flight and he (Jain) was just not letting us go as he was getting his friends and family to click the pictures with me.I patiently clicked the pictures and when I said my mom is unwell and I had to leave, he started saying he had spent Rs.50 lakh for the show and would not let him (Nigam) leave till he clicked pictures with everyone,” Sonu Nigam added.

However he has refrained from lodging any official complaint with the police. He has urged the organi ers of UP and Bihar areas to treat the artists better and change their mindsets.

Post Tanu Weds Manu, actress actress Kangana Ranaut feels she is in demand with filmmakers as they are more confident about her acting skills.

“After ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, people are much more confident about me and when they offered this role to me, I was very excited. It is totally opposite to what I have already done and tried,” the 25-year-old said in Mumbai. Kangs was at the first look launch of her film, I Love NY which also sees Sunny Deol, .

“This is a girl who is not street smart, clever New Yorker. She is quite opposite to that. It’s been a very good experience and I hope people like it,” she added.

So what how does it feel to be working with an action hero like Sunny Deol, Kangana Ranaut said actors don’t think the way audiences do.

“So our approach towards other actors is different as compared to what you guys mostly perceive us as.”

“When I think of Sunnyji, I think of him as an actor and not as someone flying, doing all kinds of action, or punching people. For me, he is an actor and you get to see his different sides when he plays an action role or a romantic role,” she added.

“I Love NY” is set for an April 26 release abd is co-directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.

Madhuri Dixit, who has been roped for the lead role in the movie ‘Dhed Ishq’ which is the sequel of ‘Ishqiya(2010) is very confident about the movie’s outcome considering its unique script. The shooting of the move is about to start today.

Movie inherits its prequels lead characters Nasseruddin Shah and Arshad warsi. Vidya Balan won’t be there in the movie; Madhuri Dixit and Huma Quereshi are the new female leads of the movie.

However, movie’s crew will remain the same with Vishal Bharadwaj producing it, Abhishek Chaubey directing it and also music will be composed by Vishal Bharadwaj.

Vishal Bharadwaj said ” Ishqiya was a great success, characters in the movie are very well perceived by the audience.Even sequel’s script has come very well, Madhuri Dixit’s charater will be a highlight in the movie and i am very confident about its outcome.”

Madhuri Dixit will play love interest of Nasseruddin Shah while Huma plays Arshad Warsi’s.

Madhuri tweeted today in the morning saying “First day on the shoot for Dedh Isqiya. Should be a beautiful day.

Also Arshad Warsi tweeted with excitement saying “Good morning. Today we start shooting for Dedh Ishqiq…As I had said, I am nervous and excited. Need your support n wishes.”

TMZ asked will.i.am about the custom car he had been seen driving around town which looks like a cross between a PT Cruiser and the Batmobile (not the new one, but the old Adam West Batmobile). will.i.am told them, “I built the car for a project that I’m doing in inner cities. I round up a whole bunch of people who are qualified to teach kids science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. And through the course, they build vehicles.” will.i.am continued, “So I have to build different types of vehicles that can be used in a tutorial. That’s the only reason that I build cars … to invest in tools so kids today can have the skills for tomorrow.”
