The official Facebook page for Catching Fire (that’s right, Facebook survives the apocalypse and makes it into the 12 districts) has released two new film posters for the second film in the Hunger Games series. Featuring two shots of Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence as Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen, the tagline on the posters read “The Victory Tour with Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, winners of the 74th Hunger Games”.
The Facebook caption for the posters, which feature the winning tributes dressed in all-white and standing in front of a grand statue, says “The Capitol proudly announces the victors of the 74th annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen & Peeta Mellark, as they embark on this year’s Victory Tour! Stay tuned to The Capitol PN for updates…”.
Fans of the series will sadly have to wait until November 21 for the film’s release, which will feature the return of Lawrence and Hutcherson, as well as a new cast of characters, including Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Jena Malone as Johanna Mason, and Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair.
Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence was spotted emerging from a salon with dark hair on Monday morning following her win for Best Actress on Sunday night. The blonde actress returned to a brunette hue to prepare for more filming on set of Catching Fire, taking place in Hawaii.
